The feet of the Boy Pharaoh King Tutankhamun protrudes from the linen covering his mummy after it was placed in a special climatized glass case inside his tomb in the Valley of the Kings near Luxor, Egypt 04 November 2007. The famous 18th Dynasty mummy and treasures of King Tutankhamun were discovered by Egyptologist Howard Carter in 1922 and after much study his mummy was placed back in his sarcophagus. However, with 5,000 tourists visiting the tomb every day there was fear that the delicate mummy would deteriorate even further because of the increased humidity due to the visitors.
